Melissa graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a B.S. in Kinesiology and received her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University. She completed multiple fieldwork rotations in the Pediatric setting and volunteered for a mission trip to Peru where she provided health services to underprivileged children and families in remote villages. Melissa is certified in Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding (SOS) and Beckman Oral Motor. She is currently pursuing certification in physical agent modalities (PAMS) and advanced practice in hand therapy. She is married with two dogs and excited to start a family of her own. She enjoys spending time her family and friends, cooking, reading, traveling, and hiking.
