Susanna M., MSOT, OTR/L

Meet Ms. Susanna, the nature-loving Occupational Therapist who joined the team in 2021! Ms. Susanna earned her bachelor’s in human physiology at Boston University and her master’s in occupational therapy at Stanbridge University. 

This wonderful OT is certified in the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding and the Beckman Oral Motor methods. For Ms. Susanna, the most rewarding part of working at Carrico is when the trifecta is achieved: the therapist figures out what makes the child tick and is able to create child-centered treatment to help them reach their goals; the child understands how to accomplish their goals through play; and the parent understands the therapist’s suggestions on how to best support their child.

Outside of the clinic, you might find Ms. Susanna exercising her green thumb, as she aspires to grow her own fruits, herbs, and vegetables! She also loves nature, eating sushi, and jamming out to the Lion King soundtrack.
