What to expect from our Speech Therapy Team:

Our Speech & Language Pathologists (SLP) are experienced in evaluating and treating delays in expressive and receptive language, articulation and social pragmatics for children of all ages.  Depending on the needs of the child, our speech therapy team (SLP and SLPA) provides therapy in our private treatment space for individualized attention, or the large gym area to promote language during peer engagement.  Our speech therapy team collaborates with the OT and PT team in order to generalize skills learned from each specialty.  Different from OT and PT, our speech therapy sessions are a half hour long in order to promote the highest level of learning with careful attention to fatigue and endurance in children.  If your child would benefit from a longer session, our speech therapy team can extend the session to meet their needs.  Currently our speech therapy team only provides therapy in the clinic setting.
