Melanie received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and German Studies at University of Portland in Portland, Oregon, and received her doctorate in Physical Therapy at University of Southern California. Prior to physical therapy, Melanie worked as a nanny for several different families with children ranging from 9-months to 8-years old. She participated in Fit Families program, which provides pro bono preventative and wellness physical therapy services to underserved children and their families. She completed her clinical rotation at Stanford’s Children’s Hospital, where she worked with a large variety of diagnoses of children 0 to 21-years-old. There, she was also trained in pediatric concussion evaluation and rehabilitation. She is excited to come to work each and every day. She enjoys teaching herself new songs on her ukulele, biking on the San Gabriel River Trail, and spending time with her friends and family.
